I collaborated on this Spongebob Squarepants 25th Anniversary Email Newsletter with another Paramount+ designer that handled the email layout in Figma. I designed the hero art, banner art and animated GIF in Photoshop. The biggest challenge with animated GIF design for retention marketing emails is keeping the file size under the required limit of 2 megabytes.

Here's an example of a Paramount+ onboarding email campaign that I designed for retention marketing. I was a member of the first Paramount design team to transition to a Figma based workflow to design emails more efficiently. The hero art, banners and animated gifs (when applicable) were designed in Photoshop by myself and imported into Figma email layouts for desktop and mobile sizes. This updated workflow helped increase deployment up to 500k additional communications per month. After the layouts were approved in Figma, the files were handed off to backend developers to covert to HTML and then deployed.

One of my regular responsibilities at CBS Interactive is email newsletter design. I’ve included a few select examples that showcase the breadth of the typical newsletters.

These tasks include the production of regularly scheduled, seasonal, promotional, and automated emails as well as coordinating all the digital resources and assets required for these campaigns.

Tasked to create eye-catching email layouts that lead to higher levels of engagement and increased click-through rates, as well as sales growth where possible and responsible in part for the extension of the company’s brand identity.

On campaigns such as these showcased, I work with other designers, developers, and copywriters to reach email campaign objectives. I also collaborate with members of other departments, such as marketing, as necessary.

After the layouts are designed and approved in Photoshop the .PSD file is handed off to our partners at Movable Ink where they are coded into HTML and then sent to our email lists.

Some of my featured work from the Smithsonian Channel Launch appears in Variety Magazine and the Apple App Store.

My logo design for Smithsonian Channel’s Million Dollar American Princesses re-branding campaign was selected and used across all digital platforms.
